We met Marc nearly 10 years ago, through friends, when we were looking for our first home. As first time home buyers, we were a bit naive, and had a very long wish list without a huge budget. What we instantly noticed about Marc, besides his great sense of humour, was that he invested in really getting to know us. While always professional and taking care of business, our interactions always feel like a coffee with a trusted friend.
He asked insightful questions and gave us tools to sort through the market noise, so we could genuinely figure out what we wanted. ‘’Do you want to look at that for the next 25 years?’’ (In reference to an eyesore of a neighbouring yard.) That one may have saved us from buying a house that was just not right. ‘There will always be other houses’. No pressure, gentle nudges, kept us from settling or losing our minds. He knows us, we trust him, and he always delivers.
His genuine care and enthusiasm for others’ happiness and success never ceases to amaze us. Marc and Sandra always have our best interest in mind, and recently helped us find our forever home, and sold our old home in a day! Despite buying both of our homes in a crazy market, they guided us to make strategic offers, while staying true to our wish list and committed to our budget.
We have been in two multiple-offer scenarios, and both times walked away with a new home... You just don’t hear that very often in Ottawa’s market. Once the pandemic is over, we look forward to a better-late-than-never cheers to our new home and catch up with our friend, Marc.
